BOKELA Pan Filter
The innovative design of the
BOKELA pan filters sets a new standard for pan filters. The filter performance, the cake wash efficiency and the reliable
and economic operation of those filters are outstanding.
The pan filters consist of:
|
-
a "forced feeding
system"
-
an adapted cake discharge
system by scroll
-
a heel re-slurring
-
well proven control
philosophy for a reliable and safe operation

|
Design Focus
The pan filters are
characterised by following features:
|
-
the "forced feeding
system" homogeneously distributes the slurry on the pan surface
so as to obtain an even cake
-
the cells have an inner
volume reduced to the minimum and a special design in order to
optimise the hydraulic design by permitting a quick drainage (sharp
splitting of filtrates also at high speed)
|
|
|
|

|
-
the heel remaining on
the pan after the scroll is effectively re-slurred with compressed
air blow and spray nozzles
-
the process angles are individually adjusted to each process
and client's requirements so as to get the highest
possible throughput for the concerned product
|
|
|
|

|
-
on demand, the
filtrate pipes can be installed in such a way that they will just
have to be swiveled during maintenance work (replacement of wear plate
for example)
-
the filter is
automatically operated from the start to the stop with a proven
interlock system for a safe operation
(filter speed controlled by cake thickness for optimal wash
efficiency)
-
also circumferential
overflow launder and an exhaust hood can be installed for safety
issues
