A well-known German chemicals producer has placed a repeat order after 15 years of reliable filter operation.

In 2006 BOKELA delivered a new filter drum including rubber coating for a drum filter from another OEM. To reduce the residual moisture in the filter cake, the drum filter is equipped with press rollers and a press belt. The rubber coating of the drum is necessary to ensure continuous operation in a corrosive environment (TiO₂). In addition to the new drum, BOKELA also supplied a new control head and a new drum bearing. The components supplied by BOKELA not only ensured reliable continuous operation in an aggressive environment for many years, but also optimized the #filtration results (reduction of residual moisture).

Since the customer is very satisfied with the equipment and service, he has now ordered another filter drum with the same scope of delivery.
