Fertilizers provide the necessary nutrients to crops and thus, make an indispensable contribution to the production of food. Synthetic fertilizers are produced in various specifications by processing natural raw materials.

An important raw material for the production of fertilizers are potash salts, which are processed by different processes. Wet processes require filtration to recover the valuable solids.

BoVac Disc filters are used for the filtration and dewatering of high amounts of suspensions. The enormous filter surface allows high specific throughputs. Due to the modular construction, the filters can be adjusted to various process conditions.
